PriceWise LLC / PriceTaglet
Website Terms of Use
Effective and last updated
These Website Terms of Use govern pricetaglet.com, operated by PriceWise LLC, Maine, USA ("PriceTaglet," "we," "us"). They cover browsing, articles, calculators, and inquiries, not the subscription service itself. Use of my.pricetaglet.com is governed by the separate SaaS Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy explains information handling across both sites.
1. Using this website
By using this site after having an opportunity to review these Terms, you agree to them to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the site. You may browse and use our public tools for lawful personal or business purposes. A person submitting an inquiry for a business must be authorized to do so. The site is intended for adults, not children.
2. Information, calculators, and market prices
Articles, guides, reference catalogs, calculators, spot-price displays, and examples are general information, not investment, financial, legal, tax, or appraisal advice. They are not an offer to buy or sell metals or a guarantee of a realizable transaction price. Estimates may omit fees, premiums, spreads, shipping, taxes, grading, or other factors important to a transaction.
Market data may be delayed, cached, unavailable, corrected, or replaced with fallback values. A "live" label does not guarantee an uninterrupted real-time exchange feed. Calculations depend on inputs, assumptions, units, purity, rounding, and third-party data, all of which can be wrong. Independently verify results, sources, and current prices before buying, selling, setting retail prices, or making business decisions. Obtain qualified professional advice where needed.
Some content may be AI-assisted. Publication does not certify every statement, prediction, source, or result. We do not guarantee market outcomes, revenue, margins, savings, battery life in every setting, or results described in examples. No website statement overrides your mandatory legal rights or an express commitment in an applicable signed agreement.
3. Inquiries, early access, and purchases
Submitting a demo, quote, or early-access inquiry requests a conversation; it is not an order, payment authorization, subscription enrollment, reserved shipment, or binding commitment by either party. Reply-time statements are service targets, not guaranteed deadlines. We may contact you about that inquiry using the details you provide, as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not provide another person's contact details without authority.
Prices, availability, shipping estimates, specifications, and promotions can change. Historical blog posts may describe offers no longer available. A purchase or subscription requires the applicable checkout, accepted order, or agreement, which states the current commercial terms. Hardware sales, delivery, refunds, and express warranties are governed by those purchase terms; SaaS billing and use are governed by the SaaS Terms. An inquiry does not waive rights or authorize automated promotional calls or texts.
4. Content and intellectual property
We or our licensors own the site's software, branding, text, layouts, images, and other protected content. You may view the site, use its public calculators, link to pages, and keep reasonable copies for your own reference. You may not republish substantial content, misrepresent our endorsement, resell our tools or market feeds, or remove ownership notices without permission, except where applicable law permits it. Third-party material remains subject to its owners' rights.
You retain rights in information you submit. You permit us to use your inquiry and related material only as needed to evaluate and respond to it, operate the site, and comply with law. Do not send confidential inventions, sensitive records, credentials, or material you lack the right to share through the public form. Receiving a message does not establish a nondisclosure agreement.
5. Acceptable use
Do not submit fraudulent or unlawful information, impersonate others, infringe rights, distribute malware, spam forms, bypass security controls, access nonpublic information, or disrupt or overload the site. Automated activity must respect applicable law and our published access restrictions. These Terms do not prohibit ordinary search-engine indexing of public pages or lawful use that cannot be restricted by contract. Report suspected vulnerabilities privately to our contact address; this is not authorization for intrusive testing.
6. Third-party services and links
We may display third-party prices, videos, images, and links. Their availability, content, and privacy practices are outside our direct control, and their own terms may apply. A link or citation is not necessarily an endorsement. We are not a party to transactions you enter with an unrelated third party. We remain responsible for obligations that applicable law places on us.
7. Availability and warranty disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the public site and its informational tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. We do not promise uninterrupted, secure, or error-free access, or that all content will remain current. We may correct, change, or remove content and suspend access for maintenance, security, or misuse.
This disclaimer does not displace an express product warranty, a signed agreement, our privacy obligations, or rights that cannot legally be excluded. Website disclaimers do not change the separate terms of a paid service or hardware purchase.
8. Limited liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PriceWise LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages from use of this public site, including lost profits, lost opportunities, or decisions made in reliance on articles, estimates, or price data, even if advised of the possibility.
Our aggregate liability for claims arising solely from this free public website is limited to US $100. This website cap does not apply to your separate paid SaaS or hardware contract. The exclusions and cap do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where limitation is prohibited, or any other liability or statutory remedy that cannot lawfully be limited. Applicable mandatory protections prevail.
9. Governing law and disputes
Maine law governs these Terms, excluding conflict-of-law rules and subject to mandatory laws applicable to you. Disputes belong in state or federal courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Maine unless mandatory law requires otherwise. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive nonwaivable consumer rights. Contact us first if practical so we can try to resolve a concern; doing so is not a condition that shortens statutory deadlines or prevents urgent relief.
10. Changes and general provisions
We may update these Terms prospectively, with the updated date shown above and a conspicuous notice for material changes where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance only where legally valid. Changes do not retroactively alter accrued claims. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
These Terms govern public-site use only. A signed agreement or accepted order controls its own subject matter, and the SaaS Terms govern the subscription service. No agency, partnership, or employment relationship is created by browsing or submitting an inquiry.
